The K9 unit consists of four high skilled Belgian Malinois paired with dedicated Santa Rosa PD officers. Each dynamic duo is proficient in both apprehension and detection, specializing in either narcotics or firearms detection. These vigilant K9s have their paws on the ground tirelessly every day to ensure the safety of the community, serving as essential assets in both search operations and apprehension efforts of serious criminals.
